About The Image Lab
Here at Image Lab our goal is to take your photography to the next level and educate all who are interested in not just taking pictures but making pictures. Image Lab is equipped with both traditional and modern photographic equipment blending old and new.
From shooting and processing black and white film, darkroom printing, alternative image making processes, to our full lighting studio, Image Lab is Bozeman’s best place for all things photographic.
Owner / Manager
In 2012 Zach graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman with a Bachelors of Arts in Film and Photography. In the Fall of 2014, Zach finished his Masters studies of the photographic arts at Lesley University in Boston and since then he has participated in creative think tanks at MIT, completed a year long administrative and curatorial internship at the Photographic Resource Center of Boston, participated in a performance and sound art festival at the Creative Arts International Biennial in 2014 and has since returned to Bozeman with a passion for photography, education, and exploration. In the spring of 2015 he taught a semester at MSU in Alternative Process and Senior Thesis. After that he began working on what has now become Image Lab Photography. The Image Lab is a creative workspace and community rental darkroom hosts events, workshops, and classes. Come down today and get “exposed” to some creative ideas.
